About the Cards.

Cards and Book

Voice of the Soul includes a set of 32 cards that cover most any situation you might ask about.  There really aren’t any BAD cards, but some might ask you to use caution while others might tell you to go full speed ahead…in your own words that is!  The words and images come from two different sources.  The first is the I-Ching, which I used for many years myself.  The symbology of that system is a bit difficult for most Westerners to relate to, so most of my images are from the natural world we live in such as animals like the Turtle or Owl, images like a sunset or sunrise.  My mother taught me to observe and appreciate nature, so choosing these images was comfortable for me.

In the book, there is more information about each card to help you sort out the meaning. In ancient times, people consulted an oracle to interpret symbols they received.  The point of this book and these cards is to teach you that YOU are your own best oracle.  There is guidance in the book, but ultimately you are the one who decides what each card and each symbol means to you.
